MOD Winterslow road closure, April/May 2025 DSTL Porton Down - Extended.
Further to my last email (below) regarding the planned closure of the MOD section of winterslow road, from the A30 junction > DSTL PTN site entrance.
Please be advised of a 2-week extension in relation to temporary closures of the MOD Crown section of Winterslow road DSTL Porton down May 2025.
The updated April/May. Road closure dates and timings are displayed on the table below to inform you and enable advance planning for diversions that will be in operation during the closure.
The section of MOD crown road must be closed due to operational reasons.

Planned Closure of the MoD section of Winterslow Road DSTL Porton Down April/May 2025
This email is to advise you as key stakeholders, that the MoD Section of the Winterslow Road, Porton Down, Salisbury, will be closed from the A30/Winterslow road junction > Black-barn road DSTL PTN across several weeks starting after the Easter holiday period 2025.
The current road closures previously informed to you are extant and will complete on 04/04/25 – then there will be a 2 week pause until the next tranche of closures comes into effect.
April/May Road closure dates and timings, are displayed on the table below to inform you and enable advance planning for diversions that will be in operation during the closure.
The section of MOD crown road has to be closed due to operational reasons.
